All of the stuff that goes on behind the scene that takes all the fun out of just doing the job. Sadly it all has to get done and in July of 2020 I had to do it all to get ME up and going. A friend ask me back then if he could just run under my numbers but at the time that just wasn’t something I wanted to get involved in. Just trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing to be legal was more than I could handle at the time. Now a year later that doesn’t seem like the big deal that it did back then. I’ve gotten all the procedures and all the tools to deal with all of it in place and I’ve figured out that I can share those things with a few other Owner Operators without it becoming something that I have to get out of my truck to do for you. But there are limits. If I take on more than just a couple of trucks then all the back office stuff suddenly becomes my full time job and like you, I just want to drive my truck.
